PlatinumGames”NEO-CLASSIC ARCADE series is a continuation of the spirit and fun of classic gaming using modern technology, and the very first game in this effort can be described as Sol Cresta. Sol Cresta takes the docking and formation methods of classic shooter games Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta and elevates them by introducing an innovative “free-form docking” method. The flagship Yamato comprises the three ships Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano is able to use a variety of attacks depending on the ways three of the ships are placed. Splitting, docking and reorganizing the vessels as are required is key in defeating the invading army of Mandler.
