Return to Monkey Island is an unexpected and thrilling return for series producer Ron Gilbert that continues the tale of the legendary adventure game The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

It’s been many years when Guybrush Threepwood was last locked in a fight of wits with his adversary, the Zombie pirate LeChuck. Guybrush’s long-time love Elaine Marley has turned his attention away from government and Guybrush is feeling unfulfilled, and lost, having not been able to discover the Secret of Monkey Island. The young, hip pirates with Captain Madison have removed the older guard to the side, Melee Island has taken a downward turn, and famed businessman Stan has been incarcerated due to ‘marketing-related crimes’.

Talk to old friends and make new ones on the familiar islands now under new, dangerous leadership. Next, you will take on the ocean and discover the unknown while trying to solve difficult problems. Guybrush can be described as a blend of puzzles that are clever and wacky scenarios. Guybrush will be able to win the hearts of his audience with his ingenuous rebuttals.
